MCCB Size Selection Guide

Select the MCCB rating a little above the maximum load current and within the cable capacity. Typical 415V three-phase guide: 16–25A ≈ 7–10kW, 63A ≈ 30kW, 100A ≈ 50kW, 160A ≈ 80kW, 250A ≈ 125kW, 400A ≈ 200kW, 630A ≈ 315kW, 800A–1250A ≈ 400–630kVA transformer/generator incomers. Check the fault level at site and choose 36kA or 50kA accordingly.
