Installation Tips
- Connect the supply (battery / PV) to the LINE terminals (1, 3) on the top and the load (inverter) to the LOAD terminals (2, 4) at the bottom.
- If + / – polarity is marked on the breaker, follow it carefully; many DC breakers are polarity sensitive.
- Choose a breaker rating about 1.25 times the maximum continuous DC current of your system.
- Tighten all terminal bolts firmly and use properly sized copper cable or lugs. Installation should be done by a qualified electrician.

Can I use this breaker on AC?
No. This is a DC MCCB made for solar, battery and other DC circuits. For AC panels use an AC MCCB.
Which size should I choose – 160A, 200A or 250A?
Divide your inverter power by the battery voltage to get the DC current, then add about 25%. Example: a 6 kW inverter on 48V draws about 125A, so a 160A DC MCCB is suitable.
Does it work as a battery isolator switch?
Yes. The ON/OFF handle lets you manually disconnect the battery or PV line safely for maintenance.
